They wanted a updated and intuitive design. We took the case and came up with simple design that looked good but also user friendly for people to buy photos.
WooCommerce and WordPress did a great job in this design, and also supported all the features they wanted, with a spoken template.
Speed & Optimization
Due the huge amount of images, it needed to be optimized around this with quick loading times. This was achieved with compression and good hosting service.
Adding caching for the front page also gave a better results.
As the image shows the optimization was a success Loading speed of roughly 1.8 seconds and 1.1MB in size.
Social Media Strategy
Having a new type of platform to sell their photos, it was created a group for people interested. And in the first month the interest was big. A Increase in social media, with images shared and people joining the group.
WordPress Care Plan
After first been put on the WordPress Platform DorsetPrints wanted to use our WordPress Care Plans, this to not have the headache of plugin, theme and core updates. But also to have analytic, security and performance reports.
